Meet STASHA
Our members are diverse and come from many different backgrounds. We all joined STASHA for different reasons: some of us have had family members with substance use disorders, some of us struggled ourselves with substance use and don't want our peers to have to learn the hard way, some of us have seen the issue of substance use in our communities' youth, some of us are worried about what we are seeing with vaping trends, some of us are worried about what we see on social media and are passionate about working towards prevention.
We work together to discuss and create projects that seek to reduce substance use in Clark County. We have STASHA Peer Educators from every school district in Clark County. If you would like to find out who serves on STASHA in your school district, you can reach out to our coordinator Alaina Green at Alaina.Green@clark.wa.gov

Aananth Hi, my name is Aananth and this is my first year at STASHA. I am a part of STASHA because I support their mission and like the STASHA community. My coping mechanism would be practicing soccer. It might just be because I am a soccer player but there is just something soothing about when you are by yourself, playing soccer with some music in your ear. Besides loving soccer, going outside, working out, and binge-watching Netflix on Fridays. Maddie Hey, my name is Maddie, This is my first year at STASHA. Some things I like to do on my free time is spend time with my friends, painting and drawing, listening to music, and play with my adorable 8 month old black Pomeranian puppy. I am apart of STASHA this year because I want to make a difference in peoples lives from now on, including teens not using drugs. Samantha Hola! My name is Samantha and I love to learn new skills everyday. I love cooking traditional Mexican dishes and experimenting on others. I love to decorate cookies and cakes much like painting portraits. I joined STASHA because it spoke to me and I only hope to make a positive change within our community. |
Andreea Hi, I’m Andreea and this is my first year at STASHA. I joined because I wanted to learn more about substance prevention and I wanted to help others within my community. My go-to coping skills are drawing and playing my violin. I find that these activities help me destress while giving me the opportunity to express my creativity. Graham Hi my name is Graham and this is my second year at STASHA. I love spending time playing music and online on my computer. I am very excited to learn about all the skills I can use in and outside of STASHA this year. I love every part of helping my community after all that has been given to me. Linnea Program Assistant - Hi, I'm Linnea! I'm lucky enough to get to help STASHA in their work. I love working with STASHA because each member is so passionate about helping our community, and I learn new things from them every day. In my spare time I like hiking, gardening, rearranging my furniture, and talking to my dog. |
Brook Hi! My name is Brook and I love math and science. This is my second year as a part of STASHA and I consider music as coping. I consider this my coping mechanism because music can help me through a lot of emotions and helps me feel relieved from the ones I was / am feeling. I love working with the amazing team of STASHA, I have learned a lot so far. Leo Hi! I'm Leo, and I have a lot of hobbies. A few include painting, watching Minecraft roleplays, reading, and drawing. I love helping prevent substance abuse because I have a family member who smokes. I want to help prevent that. The way substance abuse affects people is one of the many reasons why I stay away from it. Oliver My name is Oliver and I love music and making things. When I get overwhelmed, my go-to coping mechanisms are talking/being with my friends, listening to music, and/or watching a comfort movie. STASHA has taught me how to be comfortable with being a leader, public speaking, and how to engage with my peers about substance abuse. Valerie I’m Valerie and I’m very glad to be able to say I’m a part of STASHA. Something that I enjoy doing is skating and painting. I actually consider those my go-to coping skills. I really really like helping others out. In many different ways too, that's also my coping mechanism. It helps me feel good knowing that I’ve been able to help someone. |
Catherine Hi I’m Catherine and I’ve been in STASHA for three years. I’m a music, anime, and a theater nerd. I love to voice act too, it’s one of my hobbies. I’m in STASHA because I wanted to learn about the dangers of drug and tobacco use, how as a youth can help educate, and stop the spread of them. Plus who knows I might become the next Detective Conan! Here is a fun fact about me heh: My personality type is an INTJ. But, I hope you can join STASHA and work with us! :D
